Vegan Deodorants Upgrade!

Spa Therapy Works has replaced the old deodorant tubes for recyclable plastic ones! The fact that the previous ones weren't recyclable was bugging me so much that I had to hunt down a new greener packaging option for my precious vegan deodorants. Yes, switching things over is a lot of work (taking new pictures, updating the labels - new tube is bigger...) but I feel like it was the right thing to do. So hang in there while I put them all back in the shop and slowly update the pictures to reflect our change.

With that said, now the new deodorant containers are legible to participate in our “Spa Takes Back” Recycling Program! You’ll get a 50% OFF coupon to use on any single product in the shop when you return (5) containers to us!

It's easy: Send us back 5 rinsed out containers with your Etsy screen name and we’ll email you a coupon where you can choose ANY Spa Therapy Works’ product and pay only 50% off the price!

Eligible containers are our lotion bottles, our low-profile jars (scrubs/whipped butters, face creams) toner bottle and the new white deodorant tubes. It can be a combination of types or 5 of the same type of container – It doesn’t matter! These containers are very light and easily fit in an envelope, so it’s cheap to send them back.

Now you can shop responsibly without feeling guilty about producing waste. We cannot reuse these containers for our products, but we can make sure the material is properly recycled and we make sure they won't end up in a landfill somewhere.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Spa Therapy works

October is a month dedicated Breast Cancer Awareness. This is time of the year where everyone gets together and raises money for more research and now you can support breast cancer research and awareness through Spa Therapy Works!

We will make a contribution to 2009 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - Baltimore, MD. From now through October 11, purchase any marked PINK OCTOBER product and we’ll donate 10% of the total of the sale to the American Cancer Society.
